RECLAIM by CardioSeeds program is FREE for all trainees including medical students, residents, nursing students, etc.!
At CardioSeeds, we practice "behavioral cardiology." Our specialized focus on stress and burnout reduction as a critical method for lowering cardiovascular risk sets us apart from other cardiology practices.
We are deeply committed to the well-being of healthcare professionals.
Our RECLAIM by CardioSeeds program for physicians and other healthcare heroes is designed to optimize health, wellness, and purpose through stress reduction and other lifestyle interventions.
1. Doctor Svetlana Chamoun, MD, PhD, FACC, DipABLM founded CardioSeeds and CardioSeeds podcast in 2022 in response to a global COVID-19 crisis.
2. At CardioSeeds, we believe in teamwork when transforming lifestyles. We become our clients' close allies in their quest to restore health and tackle the root causes of burnout and cardiovascular risk factors.
3. Instead of pills and procedures, CardioSeeds uses powerful and effective pillars of Lifestyle Medicine and ongoing interactive behavioral coaching to address patients' root causes of chronic cardiometabolic disease and burnout.
***
Our program RECLAIM includes CREATIVITY as one of the central components in reclaiming health and wellness.
***
We provide primary and secondary prevention for those with or without cardiometabolic diseases or overt burnout.
4. We contribute to population health by educating individuals and families, raising awareness through the CardioSeeds podcast and CardioSeeds YouTube channel, Grand Rounds, webinars, and media appearances.
5. Our clients include any adults who need our help. Regular patients and healthcare professionals, shift workers, executives, administrators - anybody who wants to reduce burnout and improve cardiovascular risk is welcome!
At CardioSeeds, we recognize that burnout rapidly becomes one of the most pressing issues in 21st-century workplaces. In 2021, over 70% of the US workforce reported experiencing burnout symptoms.
As a cardiologist, I am concerned about the adverse effects of chronic stress and burnout on cardiovascular disease. Through multiple direct and indirect mechanisms, including stress and burnout triggering unhealthy habits like overeating and drinking too much alcohol, they contribute to an increased risk for heart attacks, stroke, irregular heartbeat, obesity, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure, to name a few.
Workers, including physicians and nurses, who are burned out, cannot take the best care of their clients. Ultimately, they can jeopardize their patients without knowing or willing to do so.
Our holistic RECLAIM by CardioSeeds program is focused on stress and burnout reduction, pillars of lifestyle medicine, dynamic behavioral coaching, creativity, and workplace wellness.
We use a person-centered approach focused on your individual needs and gives you so many tools for future growth that you feel empowered, revived, and have a reclaimed purpose in life and at work.
RECLAIM by CardioSeeds can be taken as an ongoing monthly Club membership, as a one-time 4-week immersion program, or as a group program (one can bring friends and colleagues - for a discounted price!))).
